My life has been one journey in and towards the Great Work of God. I came to faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 15 as my Sunday school teacher shared with me the Good News of what Christ had done.

After struggling in my relationship with God for several years, I finally committed my life to HIM at the age of 19 when I surrendered to work with young adults/teens. By this time I had met the young lady with whom I would spend the rest of my life, Tammie. We were married in 1977 and moved to Greensboro, N.C. We served for several years at various churches in both Concord and Greensboro, North Carolina.

Ultimately God called me to preach with the goal of one day Shepherding a local church. This became a reality at the age of 30 when I was called to my first pastorate in Burlington, N.C. We served there for over 7 years when God birthed out a completely new work where we have been serving since 1995. Now some 30 years later, Tammie and I have 3 grown, married children. They and their spouses have been such a powerful testimony of God’s grace to us as we watch them all grow and live for Christ. At the time of this writing we have been blessed with  6 grandchildren (5 girls and 1 boy)

We love to see God work in the lives of people, young and old alike. We have been privileged to be a part of God’s Great work and look forward to serving HIM together, teaching/preaching the word of God and proclaiming the Good News till HE comes!
